The Reading Association of the Philippines, a national affiliate of the International Literacy Association is a professional organization that aims to help develop among the citizenry a consciousness of the importance of literacy, appreciation of literature and a lifetime habit of reading for all Filipinos. RAP also serves as a clearinghouse for information on research, instruction, training, and other matters related to literacy learning and teaching.
