The Reading Association of the Philippines (RAP) forges partnerships with various institutions and persons who want to promote literacy in communities and schools.
In recent years, RAP has partnered with schools, colleges, universities, and local and national government units in welcoming literacy advocates during talks, fora, demofests, and conventions. Educational institutions have offered their schools as venues for RAP’s literacy activities. RAP also collaborates with other agencies in developing literacy programs and continuing professional development projects.
The members of the book publishing industry have been the greatest ally of RAP in its literacy endeavors. They have provided funding for sponsorships, travel expenses, and even for membership for selected schools who have been faithful clients of their companies.
